Planning Your ItineraryBaruchim haba'im to The Land of Israel. Welcome! (Or literally translated, blessed are those who come). Did you know that the Hebrew words for “abroad” in Hebrew are “Hutz L’Aretz” which mean “Outside the Land”? So much to see, to do, and so little time! You could spend months touring and not do half. From the 1800s, when the first pioneers started buying up desolate swamp land from the Turks, the story of this tiny country has been one of change, development, and growth. Since the official rebirth of the State of Israel in 1948, all of this speeded up tenfold! A place you visited last time, may have changed almost out of recognition by the time you come again! How to plan your itinerary: Let me help. Send me the relevant details.
Things to consider:Israel is a tiny country with an enormous amount to see. Many of the roads are small, the traffic jams are large. So distances take longer to cover than you might think. (I’ll advise on feasibility of different routes) If it is a top tourist attraction then there is a reason. Do try to visit! Balance the big sites with off the beaten track ones (I’ll advise on these) Some of my favourite places.
